DVR Examiner 1.21.0
Good morning everyone! We have published an update for DVR Examiner which includes support for a lot of new DVRs as well as improvements to existing systems.
- Added support for the ICATCH_264 filesystem commonly found in ICATCH and other unbranded DVRs
- Added support for the JDX_264 filesystem commonly found in ELEC and other unbranded DVRs
We updated multiple filesystems including PictMan, SZ_dc, no_efi, and HIK_264 to better address situations where the DVR is not providing complete index information. This typically occurs in the last few recordings because of power interruption.
In addition, we added a check for the format of your destination media (FAT32, NTFS) during exports. FAT32 limits the number of files in a single folder, so on large exports we tend to recommend exporting to a different format media (such as NTFS or exFAT). We will now warn you prior to beginning the export and allow you to modify the destination if desired.
We addressed an issue with the DFS3_264 filesystem we recently released. Some systems with a larger number of files were having issues scanning them all.
We also fixed an issue with exports from the Argus_JP2 filesystem that appeared in our 1.20.1 release, as well as made sure detection results are able to be submitted properly now.
Thanks for your continued interest and support!
